Brianna Banvard

Editor, Colorist, and Sound Designer

About

Brianna Banvard is a New York-based filmmaker with a passion for post-production, specializing in editing, color grading, and sound design. Growing up in a small town on Long Island with very little to do, she spent most of her free time watching horror movies with her dad. Shaping the way she saw the world, these films created an early interest in filmmaking and an eagerness to terrify audiences the way she was as a child.

Her projects often center around psychological tension, moral dilemmas, and the internal conflicts that define human behavior. By focusing on character-driven narratives, her work challenges viewers to reflect on their own actions, choices, and regrets, questioning the fine line between right and wrong.

As an editor, Brianna uses post-production as a way to truly bring her films to life. She sees post-production as an important tool in creating suspenseful and uncomfortable atmospheres. She uses these tools to heighten the emotional impact, ensuring that every cut, sound, and visual choice serves to deepen the audience’s discomfort, creating a lingering sense of dread that stays with the viewer long after the credits roll.
